Email Marketing Strategies for the Golf Industry

How well are you managing your email marketing campagins?  Are you viewing the click thru rate? What is your goal rate?  What is your Goal?  Conversaion rate to sale?  Do you know yoru conversaion rate to sale?

Writing an effective email marketing campaign is challenging to insure that not only do they open up your email… BUT THEY READ IT!  Do you know what your customers are reading on your website?

Increasing your email distribution list is paramount to be able to fill your tee sheet!  You must develop a six sigma process of customer interaction to increase your email distribution.  If you can think of each email on your distribution list as a $54,000 client…then you would be more adamant about acquiring their e-address. Granted the $54,000 is over the course of the customer; however, it still represents a significant amount revenue.

  • Take email addresses on the first tee – for a complimentary, ice tea or draft beer at the turn.
  • Always use email to confirm tee times.
  • If they slipped past your tee time process – capture the email address at the counter.
  • Signs in the shop, on your web page, and around the club about giving a way a free membership for a month – free drawing.
